I had a bit of a think about it, from their perspective.

They have probably 100s of stocks in their portfolio, and they manage them from a trading policy standpoint, certain metrics set by their companys trading philosophy plus time in a stock/performance probably triggers when they offload.

Seeing it from my side and probably a few others here, you think well i have a good percentage of my individual savings invested in this, im in it to make double or triple what ive invested and it would be somewhat life changing if that was to happen

So for a good sized investment firm like them theres no emotional attachment or hope involved, its purely data and a game plan accross all their holdings. Another day at the office, so to speak.

For me at least its a bit more personal because i dont have someone elses money to play with and the risk to me is greater.
