Unfortunately, my portfolio contains too many stocks which were bought for the same reason everyone buys shares (they looked good value) but have since become long-term, deep value contrarian plays. South32 being one of them; along with RXM.

Then we get to Arafura, which I bought at 41¢, saw it go to 70-odd cents, and followed it down to 12¢ yesterday like a true bag holder! I only mention it because it's up an enormous 77% today on funding from Albo for their flagship project, and I noticed you're a holder from their Hot Copper forum. I'm still 39% under water despite the 77% one day gain! I didn't have the same confidence in ARF that I do in Rex.

I wonder (just thinking out loud, really) what type of one-day gain we'd see in Rex if Peter Malinauskas suddenly announced government funding with FID for Hillside. That would be nice. I suspect if Hillside moved from theoretical, to definitely happening, the market would suddenly see Rex very differently.
