The most significant point in that long article at the top of the thread is the remarkable superiority of Mt Weld RE ore grade compared to all the others. Especially important when you compare mining and transport logistics for refinement...
The current cautionary note is that China NdPr prices have been falling since these articles were written. It's very unclear why, in view of continually rising world demand. Quite possibly it's manipulation - that didn't work well for China last time....
