What do you do in the industry? Have you first hand experience in the application and use of the items on smart home?
Some of it isn't bad but a lot of it is quite clunky and not entirely user friendly. To me the biggest disadvantage with what's out there is the emalgamation of all devices to one central control.
I have developed an automation system for my home, albeit quite primitive and only controlling a portion of my home. It took a lot of work and persistence to have a usable and reliable solution.
Xped when established will afford this luxury to everyone, you will not have to be overly tech savvy or spend a lot of money.
I averaged down today and hope to again when funds are available.
