I for one will support @hudson on his RYG bona fides, he is in for the long term and is a large holder.
I do have difficulty with some chartists but not charting per se. There is a lot of value in the ability to understand charts even though they are a lagging indicator a good chartist can make some fairly accurate predictions.
The issue I and I believe many have is the philosophy of some but not all chartists. I find some childish arrogant and rude. I do not like to read statements like "we trade on the fear of others" which has been stated in this thread.
@hudson is one of the good ones, he happily shares quality research, his charts are impeccable, he is a RYG loyalist and I believe he has high credibility with the RYG community..
