Uh, dude, I've worked in the federal govt and with medical folk, quite a bit, and just because you've got a senior position, doesn't mean you are generically smart. Maybe in a narrow field. It's like Mensa - you're "really smart" but can't unfortunately, tie up your shoelaces with any regularity.

However, if she is from Duke, maybe she's trying to take an equal and opposite balance to the fact that Meso's chairman, Swedish, is from Duke.

If so, she's doing an excellent job of being "negative"
