Just in case anyone cares - lol - I lived in Cape Town for two years amd many weekends we spent on the wild beach of Melkbosstrand - just north of CT (which is actually in a hook harbour and looks up the coast of SA.)

One weekend we turned up to see a huge sign announcing that it was to be the site of a nuclear power station called Koeberg - no national debate, no NIMBY, no argument - just do it. It was the first I'd even heard about it.

ps - it overlooks Robben Island.
