All SMSL efforts are futile. Why ? Because ultimately economic development and progress for the good of humankind triumphs. Above all else, Governments are judged by economic success and jobless rates. Especially when danger i.e. the waste can be managed - either through reuse and recycling which results in further commercial value OR containment/proper disposal (we have so much technology at our disposal - surely we can find a safe solution).
