I wish to elaborate, on my previous statement...
..re-A vision for Tyndrum.
So as not to paint too much of a glorious picture on the prospects for Tyndrum, My own vision of progress would in fact come about eventually, as a matter of course,in time. The fact that a gold mine may come into operation, will only serve to boost the finances of the region..and would inevitably bring the development of the rural districts much closer. Local levy's and taxes would be eased or at least not rise so fast. Scotland has a great health system, with free medical care and prescriptions. Like anywhere else in the UK even this part of Scotland is subject to expansion, the baby boom etc..and the expected growth rate will be self propelling..and revenues from a gold mine can only make local govt expenditure less of a burden on the community.
