Not enough support. We got about 10m committed votes. My guess was needing 30m for an even chance, then a push for more before the vote..
We wrote to all who gave me their personal details pre Christmas thanking them, but saying it was a lost cause on those numbers. Hope I missed no one on the email.
It just would have burned shareholder funds and while I was prepared to fund the legal drafting of a proper 249D, I at least needed an even chance to commit extra funds too the project.
Also, it would not have been fair to tarnish the very decent potential board members, on a failed bid. These people generally would be invited to boards far more significant than VOR's.
Just need to wait and see. If someone is prepared to have another go, then all well and good.
