The stock has held up very well hasn't it. I did feel it would have a pretty solid chance to hold its ground or even increase in price with the buyback running and dividends expected to increase this financial year.
Share price appreciation and increased dividends..what's not to like.
Analysts would be looking at China to see if base metals will come off the boil a bit but I don't think it will for another 12 months and then fy18 will be done and dusted.
Analysts are also looking at where S32 can expand and they criticised the buyback. These analysts can go jump in the lake. The amount of times the analysts have got it wrong on S32 is unbelievable.
S32 management will still have the money to make a couple of solid acquisitions. Lithium or cobalt. They have made mention on tapping into the EV market. This is the future. Let's see what they do with the remainder money.
