I will respond by reposting a comment I made a week or two ago on the Illawarra thread, not sure if anybody else has heard anything or read the article in question:
I am not a subscriber to the Australian so can't access the full article, but the title and snippet that is visible seem to suggest South32's Illawarra operations will be sold? Not all that surprising I guess, but will be a major deal for the company that should attract more interest than BHP's failed attempt to sellits thermal coal assets.
