You don't get the same tax credits if you are single without kids.
Family tax credit part a & part b, there were baby bonuses at one point.
There's a reason why less than 50% of Australians are net tax payers.
Taxation & expenses are completely unrelated in the taxation system, it's taxes & income that are related.
