Although the SP is holding up reasonably well it is only the second trading day of the month and it is important to remember that the market is expecting the IA to be delivered imminently.
HP in response to your inital post, if it is indeed another month away then I have no doubt that in this market we will start to see the SP move south under some pressure and I would expect that the jump in the SP once we sign the IA will unfortunately be coming off a lower SP platform.
