I agree, there are some absolutely wonderful PEOPLE in the SA Health profession, it is the system that is, well, stuffed. Also Bill Griggs, the Dr who wants proper drugs testing for young people, (having a blonde moment and cant recall his name) and there are some excellent Drs in the mental health system. Also WCH - esp during the Garibaldi crisis. I am betting they must be totally frustrated with the way the SYSTEM is managed and budgetted.
And when the crunch comes, if the system actually does work it will ONLY be because of these people. But I am thinking even they wont be able to help if bird flu hits!
