Mutooroo Cobalt: A Major New Cobalt District in Northeastern South Australia
Abstract
Mutooroo is a copper-cobalt-gold bearing massive sulphide lode deposit, with an 8,400 tonne cobalt JORC resource.
Havilah's open file research and follow up field sampling and mapping programs over its extensive surrounding tenement holding has identified many highly promising cobalt prospects and walk up drill targets, mostly related to ironstone gossans that reflect underlying sulphide mineralisation.
It is now evident that Mutooroo forms part of a widespread copper-cobalt-gold sulphide mineralised district, with exceptional cobalt discovery potential.
