SA shortlist

I am not in a position to confirm the source, so please just treat as rumor only at this stage.

From what I can understand, the SA Request for Information (RFI) is down to a very short list from the 90 original respondents and there are some very serious discussions going on to get to a final position by the end of June. The short list is as I understand it less than 10.

The dialog between the vast number of respondents has all but dried up and has been for a number of weeks. This fits with my earlier post weeks ago, if they get sufficient quality responses they could go straight to contract negotiations.

It will be interesting to see how close to the 'pin' I am in the coming weeks.

I would be very interested if anyone else has heard similar talk about town re the progress of the RFI

By the way, from when I heard, there was no indication of who is in or out at this stage, so watch this space.
