Liberal MP Phillip Thompson says the SA government are only sorry to be “found out” after they did a “double somersault” on their position to remove ANZAC Day.“We really put extreme pressure on the South Australian government,” he told Sky News Australia host Peta Credlin.
“They have done a double somersault and corrected the errors of their way.
Mr Thompson says he believes it was “public pressure” which saw the Malinauskas government fold from their position.
“So, they are not upset they got it wrong – they are upset they got found out.”
