At the Sydney presentation I recall Prof Fong saying that what the scientist wanted to see was the necrotic tissue when a biopsy needle was inserted into the treated tumor, he then said that what the FDA wanted to see was progression free survival data. I interpreted this to mean that he was expecting necrotic material in the treated tumor but that this was only one step, albeit in the right direction. My recall only.
