I suspect it's a culmination of the pressure he has been under. Not an easy job to be in, I reckon, given he knows he doesn't have a high rating as an individual. He was gutsy enough to make the franking credit policy announcement well in advance of the election campaign and suspect he has had many, many angry people confront him on that as well. Personally, I'd hate his job and the mother headline attack was just the tip of the iceberg. Social media doesn't help either. It is a cruel, challenging world out there. Personally, I'd be crying every single day if I was Bill. Fortunately, I am not and I am a girl so I can cry whenever I want.
