That's a good point you make spyaladin.
Many years ago I was travelling in my car in Elwood, and saw a child (almost a baby in fact)about to alight from the pavement onto the road. I stopped my car and put myself in the child's way so it could not cross the road. Whilst waiting patiently for the parent to emerge, I did not touch the child. The parent (male) eventually did, and it was very obvious that he was under the influence of an illegal substance.
It has bothered me ever since that I couldn't do a thing to protect in the future.
