This clown earns $1 000 000 plus a year and doesnt have the sense to realise over the past year that maybe we should have sold some of our foreign currency reserves and bought some gold.

Ben Bernanke earns roughly 250 000 usd to manage the biggest economy in the world and we pay this man 4 times that amount who's only contribution to Australias fiscal management is to increase cash rates too somehow slow down the economy and acheive a arbitary inflation rate figure.

I have a suggestion for Wayne Swan, sack this incompetant and appoint someone on a qaurter of his salary and link any increase of it to the bottom line of Australias accounts. The 85% increase in salary increase for this position over the past 5 years is offensive.
