I think people assume that if you point out inflation is government driven and not corporate driven, there's an assumption you're a corporate bootlicker defending them.

Pointing out the truth is an honorable thing and has nothing to do with the companies. The cost of living crisis is directly correlated to the blasé way money is printed. Sure, a few corporates will use it as a chance to get a few extra bucks. But it absolutely pales in comparison to what the money printer has done to people's purchasing power.

Businesses are just a segment of the economy smart enough to realize what's going on and adjust accordingly before they go bankrupt if they don't.

The scary thing is this is not a difficult concept to understand, yet huge segments of the population adamantly and aggressively dispute this simple fact or try to deflect blame.
