WOW, in and of itself, a GREAT business. Simply now being used by a weak inept Federal Govt to deflect from it's own many failings. I'm not a huge fan of the current CEO - I'm NOT suggesting his short-term removal - but, I'd walk out on a 4 Corners interview too!
1) If you don't want to shop in WOW stores, don't (I bet you do) and 2) If you believe the market needs more competition, mortgage your home, mortgage your kids, take the commercial risk and open your own store(s)....good luck!
This political theatre, is largely a product of the people now in politics never even having had a job....they grasp nothing of how the real world works...and it really shows!
WOW, a great Australian business - medium to long-term, it deserves a better Board (many current members of which, appear weak on genuine commercial experience) and in turn company leadership team!
