    I could not agree more. The CEO has aligned with a minority that is supported by our political minority as well a woke investors. The argument it could end up in landfill is completely bogus as many of their products fulfill this criteria, look at the toy section, party goods etc. I don't worry about the staff as any expenditure goes to another company, it isn't lost and if people from Woolies are laid off, they will be able to get a job at Coles or potentially other retailers. I don't think the CEO will be under pressure to resign as the institutional shareholders seem to welcome these messages going out and as @ConSpec has mentioned Blackrock and Vanguard have their fingerprints all over this.

    I go to a shopping centre that has Woolies and Coles in same centre. I have a choice and have decided to move all my shopping to Coles when previously it was mostly Woolies. I have a number of kids so my grocery bill is around $300 per week. Not sure what will happen with the people who make decisions at Woolies, but I cannot in good conscience support them in any capacity as I love my country.
