You make up stuff as you go along, do you? Lump people into a category and then attack everyone who you perceive belongs to this category and thinks exactly the same as each other. How ridiculous is that?

There are laws in place to prevent unfair dismisal of employees and so there should be. The existence of Laws regarding Unfair dismissal would not be debateable by fair-thinking people and this obsession of yours that there is one dichotomy which needs quoting ad infinitum of your perceived "left" and "right" is plain stupid.

The person was not an employee. They were a contractor and has nothing to do with unfair dismissal.
Regarding unfair dismissal; this has been the catalyst for employers having part time workers only. They can be dismissed at will or hours reduced to make their job not viable.
