Rudd was about to lose an unlosable election in the eyes of the Labor party and Unions, he had to go.
He was not listening to the Unions or his party so we are lead to believe.
It was through Union support that he was given the PM job within the Labor party.
Julia is a Union girl through and through and will be either kept on a tighter leash or will take notice of which side her bread is buttered.
Abbott did a good job of countering Rudd and his popularity, as he was formerly John Howards attack dog he was well versed at his job.
Will the Liberals keep Abbott in the top job now that Rudd is gone or will they look to counter Labors move which has caught them and everyone else off guard.
It is just politics, a puppet show for the masses, I have nothing against Julia Gillard, but she was caught up in most of the stuff ups which happened under Rudd which raises questions about her own abilities and agendas.
