Seriously I hope this event does not get too much coverage for the sake of the teenager involved. Obviously Goodes was upset, as he just been an ambassador for this cause and racial discrimination is hurtful. As Eddie explained last night, social media can be a very powerful force. If she made racial comments to Goodes, then she will live to regret her actions. However at this time restorative justice could be a very good strategy with her.
The offending teenager could be asked:
What were you thinking at the time? How did your behaviour impact on others? What will you do to make it right?
