Sad all around

Not an AFL fan but had the TV on in the background. I thought Eddie Mcquire's reaction was genuine and appropriate.

Unfortunate that the young fan may have made some ill thought out remarks about a footballer who seems to be a pretty good bloke. I am an anglo so I have never had to walk in Goode's shoes, he has obviously had to take a lot of taunts in his playing and non-playing life, he was genuinely upset by the remark. His feelings are the only relevant ones cause it was directed at him and obviously pushed a button.

I would expect that the young lady will proffer an apology that will be graciously accepted by Goodes, hopefully that will be that and she (and others) learn a good lesson.

Eddie M went up a notch in my view.
