if you call putting a racial slant on just about any word is growing up,then bully for you.I had never heard of monkey being a racial slur until the Symonds incident and this is the first time I have heard of ape being one also.I do not recall Symonds throwing a hissy fit and being devastated and gutted etc.Some of my favourite people are part aboriginal and I have never heard them mention ape as an insult.And I would be down on anyone like a ton of bricks if they racially slurred them. A great ape has always been a big person who has been acting the goat or being an idiot or as in this case damaging her team
