sad level of personal donations usa

CNN is currently running a poll on the intention to make a donation to the victims of the tsunami victims

Out of 7450 votes so far

10% have already donated
33% intend to donate
57% do not intend to donate.

Very sad result when 57% do not intend to donate to what is becoming the worlds largest natural disater.

Hopefully the smal number that have voted to date are not representative of the whole US population.

I would also like to think that if the same poll was run in Australia it would show better results than this pathetic one - but maybe I am wrong
