Enough racism, please
Don't dehumanise people Stocko and Snooker, it doesn't do your arguments any favours at all and just makes you look like bigots. All peoples have bad seeds - admittedly some cultures have more than others - but most people regardless of religion or culture are fundamentally decent. I think it is appalling that the Bali atrocity has given legitimacy to some extremist views on this forum.
One of Australia's great strengths is its openness to other cultures. Some such as mojorisen and his ilk would argue this is our Achilles heel, I would argue it is a strength. He can use convenient labels such as bleeding heart or traitor but I am as patriotic as anyone and am proud that Australia is home to so many diverse peoples. It may create vulnerabilities for us but it is also what makes Australia such a great place to live, a melting pot of the earth. Do not allow terrorism to jade your view on humanity.
