sad news the passing of ferret53

it is with great displeasure that i write this post, as a matter of fact i have tears in my eyes, i have been advised by the Kelly family that our good freind Ferret passed away this morning.

Ferret (real name Chris) was a dear friend on this forum and had severe renal problems as he has pointed out on the POH forum. Of recent times he was looking forward to a transplant and was quite upbeat, here is his last post 5610276

i only met Chris once, at the POH HC May meeting which he flew down for, and he was a true gentleman, he arrived late came back for a beer at the Stokehouse and chatised me later for not having more than one

Ferret the forum will be the poorer without you mate...

(A funeral is being held on Friday 27th August at 2pm at the Newhaven Crematorium on Harbour Rd in Mackay Qld. A gathering will be held following the funeral at the Mackay Aero Club)
