If Japan was surrendering, why two A-bombs? If Germany was, why was Dresden bombed into oblivion and Berlin almost so? I know you approve of these actions.
You know as well as I do that leaders like to prove how loved they are by sacrificing their "willing" followers. Only when all is lost [and the ignomity of defeat so great] do they actually consider coming out of their A/C bunkers.
