Watched the interview ; he just focused on a smaller number of the themes he's constantly pushed at rallies. Difference is 10,000 Trumpets cheering / booing at the appropriate points in the pantomime.
Agreed it is sad - unfortunately I think it will take something extreme to shake up the millions from the 'Trump Cult' and actually get them to start seeking real answers about their beliefs.
