If Trump makes even one move to try to cling on via emergency powers or the intervention of the army, then I believe the US authorities would have to have him executed for high treason.
Would need to be a public execution as well, and then maybe stick his rotting corpse in a gibbet and hang it up on display.
You have to send the strongest message possible where high treason is involved.
