I think a couple of mass shootings of 'innocents' might be enough to get most of them to actually begin the questioning process. Agreed that there will always be a core group that won't ever even consider how they got to their belief structure.
Do note there are lots of Republicans running around hosing down the rhetoric at the moment. Pity they didn't stand up during the last 4 years when this cult was allowed to run unchecked.
