Draft legislation has been released and it looks as if gas fired units under 25 MW will be exempt from taxes.
I suspect it will take a few days for Kalina to digest and respond but I think it is good news for Saddle Hills.
As I recall they were looking to build two 22MW peaker plants.These would be expected to operate only 25 per cent of the
time and be switched on as additional capacity was required for the grid.
