Commercial suicide? How so?
I looked at the terms the other week and reading through the fine print it didn't seem as bad as you are making out. Not ideal due to Long Island being able to specify which 5 day VWAP period to value the placed shares but the placement fee is a third less than standard industry rates and the facility allows for fairly small sums, sufficient to tide KPO over if they don't need a great deal, say enough to cover them for two to four weeks.
