    It's been interesting to note market reaction to the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant disaster.

    Coal was once written off by the market as a dirty, 19th century fuel source that would be swept away by newer cleaner greener fuel sources.

    In light of recent events, markets and governments around the world are reconsidering their stance on nuclear energy.

    This can only be good news for thermal coal producers. Thermal coal will continue to be a major component of the global energy mix for the rest of the 21st century.

    For fast-growing emerging nations like Tanzania, thermal coal is an essential element in their national economic development because it is abundant and affordable.
