SafeNet Encryptor Gets U.S. Approval in National Security Initiative
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Information security company SafeNet Inc. said Thursday that an encrypting device it has developed received government certification to be used in a national security program.
SafeNet, which began delivering the device to U.S. agencies in December, said its encryptor is the first such device to get the certification. The government will use the encryptor as part of a program to modernize its computer systems and better protect classified information
