Smuggler, Are these the partnership announcements you wanted to read? You are right the only thing we don’t know yet is the lead time between partnership and sales however we will be updated soon I believe. I have also been advised by a good reliable source that another huge announcement is coming soon with partnership diversification. Time will tell the story.
CEO John DuBois said: “I am confident not only about this year’s results but also on
the plans I will announce to the market later this quarter on how we will continue our
growth through 2007. The strategy behind our Cybertrust partnership, the Crescent
Technologies sale and the new Ethernet and Cypherblade products are designed to
both “de-risk” our business from reliance on SafeNet sales and grow our product
sales through multiple partners and new product licencing arrangements.”
Melbourne, 20 March 2006 - Cybertrust®, the global information security
specialist, today announced it had signed a non-exclusive agreement with
Senetas Corporation (ASX: SEN) to distribute its high speed network
encryption devices in Australia, New Zealand and selected markets in North
and South East Asia.
“This agreement will provide a significant boost to sales of our high speed
network encryption products,” Mr Galbally added.
Centrelink and Dimension Data announced today the awarding of a $40 million
contract to Dimension Data. The announcement today formalizes the contract which
was awarded in late 2005. Senetas is delighted to advise that it has been selected as
one of the technology partners in the implementation of the project. The project will
generate multi million dollars in earnings for Senetas over a number of years.
CTV has agreed to acquire from Senetas the eCryp technology and business for US$3
million. Senetas has also agreed to licence to CTV and associated companies its high
speed encryption technology for specific applications developed by those companies
for an upfront fee of US$3 million and ongoing royalties of 15% of revenues
generated from products utilizing the Senetas technology.
The agreement continues Senetas’ strategy of de risking its business through
developing multi distribution channels and seeking new product ranges for its core
technology. It also has opened up new high level security and defence contacts.
