19th February 2009, 13:30 WST
Perth businessman Tony Sage has accepted a seat on the board of Tianshan Goldfields.
He will replace Graham Woolford, who is resigning to focus on other commitments, as a non-executive director at the China focussed gold miner.
Mr Sage is chairman of iron ore explorer Cape Lambert Iron Ore and owner of the Perth Glory.
Tianshan is focused on developing its 90 per cent owned Gold Mountain project in North West China.
Tianshan shares were up one cent, or 14.49 per cent, to 7.9 cents at 1.15pm.
