sage on sky business channel re pdy

Suggest you all take a look at Sky business channel at some time today if you get the chance.

Sage interviewed re pdy vote. Paraphrasing -

* Probably a good thing the vote failed as i (sage) am a director of FE and that could have created conflict re takeover. (he's a bright fella isn't he!!!)
* Acknowledged offer is a discount but justification is the mining tax and the uncertainty over the tax and impact on magnetite ore in the under developed midwest region.
* Acknowledged may have to increase offer and inferred would be prepared to do so.
* Stated 'we like to win' and 'am confident we will eventually own pdy'.
* Some exisiting shareholders happy with current offer????

All interesting stuff.

Can't wait for their increased offer.....It will probably just go in the bin with all the other McInerney/FE stuff.

Mind you, a 3.5c offer would be something to consider....
