Interesting comments RE buy out a junior or bid for BHPs Nickel Smelter and/or the Kwinana refinery. Both are worn out & require major rebuilds to the tune of 10s of millions of dollars. Sounds like somebody is having a thought bubble just like some of our politicians. As far as hold ups by unions in the construction & mining phases, i think several contractors will bid & unions will not be involved. Underground mining has not had a unionised workforce since around 1990. SIR is progressing on target & hitting ALL of their targets, not like one particular nickel junior that some have high hopes for this year, or maybe next year or maybe the year after that.
