I was initially underwhelmed as well, but the deal has rightly been called very good for Centrica, which in turn will be very good for us.

They will do a much better job of pushing through local opposition than we have done, and I understand that we purchased the prospect from Centrica in the first place. We may see lots of opposition evaporate with this transaction, and that may be worth more than the current opportunity cost that we have forgone.
