The NSW Treasurer announced this week that agreement has been reached with the Liberal Party to sell the NSW Lotteries.
The main contender is Tatts Group (TTS). Other significant contenders are Tabcorp and a group of newsagents.
The NSW Lotteries business is so profitable that it used to support the operations of all public hospitals in NSW.The NSW lotteries profits now go into consolidated revenue.
