These two lines (from Business Spectator) say it all really:
The company [Elders] said the transaction will likely be earnings neutral in 2011 as earnings from the sale will be offset by reduced interest expense and the extra network access fee.
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank expects the acquisition to be immediately earnings and return on equity-accretive.
