"When" is certainly the key point?
TAP certainly has valuable WA gas assets, but in my opinion they would be better off in much larger hands as they have much greater funds available.
My own guesstimate is that they are worth around the $65 million mark - but given the current situation $50 million might still be seen as a good outcome.
The market seems to treat TAP as if its WA gas assets are of little value. Only a sale of its WA gas assets might encourage the market to wake up to TAP's real value.
My family bought into TAP on 3 occasions last year and are holding long term. We could have exited a couple of times when the share price had mini-runs, but feel that better days lay ahead for holders (our thoughts only of course).
