The majors become majors because they operate at a time were technological advancement open the door to finding the large low handing fruit. It is a long term of diminishing returns, big fields are rare and the dollars to find and develop them are greater .govt tax
Take also higher very few small caps will become any bigger than amid cap , but that if done without dilution is still great for an investor
My view is oil companies are short to medium term investments , buy when they are chEap and sell when the valuation gap
Narrows vs closes. I have most success taking 30-70% returns often as opposed to waiting for bags.
